Clinical Supervision for Therapists

Supervision should be a place where you can bring the real work, not the polished version of it.

About my supervision

I’m a BACP Accredited therapist with a Diploma in Supervision from The Link Centre. I’ve been working with clients since 2014 and in private practice since 2017, so I know what it actually feels like to build and sustain a practice from the ground up.

I work relationally and from a relational-developmental perspective, integrating humanistic, psychodynamic, attachment, parts work (IFS & TA), trauma and shame theories. In supervision that means I’m as interested in what’s happening between you and your client as I am in the content of what’s being brought. I’m particularly drawn to the parts that are hardest to say out loud.

What I’m especially interested in

Supervisee shame is something I feel strongly about. I’m talking about the moments where you’re not sure you handled something well, where you feel out of your depth, where you wonder if you’re good enough for this work. Those are exactly the moments supervision should be able to hold and they’re often the ones that get hidden instead. I provide a space to talk about this openly, focusing on support and growth.

I also have a particular interest in childhood emotional neglect and shame in clients, estrangement and difficult family dynamics and supporting therapists who are building sustainable private practices rather than burning themselves out trying to fill every slot.

Who I work well with

I’m a good fit for therapists who work humanistically, whether that’s person-centred, Gestalt, TA or an integrative blend. I’m especially at home with therapists who are drawn to parts work, relational depth, and trauma-informed approaches.

I’m neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming and a trans ally. If your client work includes late identified neurodivergent clients and you want a supervisor who genuinely understands that landscape rather than just being theoretically aware of it, that’s me.
